Art classes for the students will be held once a week as per the timetable of class. Regular Art Exhibitions will be also held where the students will get a chance to display their talents. Management will not leave any stone unturned to enhance and promote the skills of its students.
JBG International School aims to provide a broad and balanced co-curricular program. Performing arts is profound and will be an important part of our education and the skill learned and experience gained in taking dance, Music and various instruments improves the children’s ability.
Performing Arts develops creativity, confidence, promotes self-discipline, self-motivation, social interaction and cooperation.
The school has Five Houses: (Green) , (Blue), (Yellow) , (Orange), (White) Competitions are held in a variety of areas sports, cultural, literary, art, quizzes, theatre and public speaking. Each House has a Captain and Vice-Captain, both in Primary and Secondary School, who assists House-masters and House-Mistresses and help organize teams for various competitions, in order to encourage participation and develop a healthy House spirit. Within each House, the House system helps in developing leadership skill, team spirit and student’s responsibility.
Each competition holds certain marks, each house receives Points on the basis of the rank in Competitions. At the end of Academic year, The House with highest point is awarded “Best House Trophy”
Sports play an important role both in and beyond the curriculum. JBG International School will provide State-of-the-art sports facilities and students from all age groups learn the importance of health and fitness under trained Physical and Health Instructors.
Each student is motivated to develop individual proficiency in at least one sport – Kabaddi, Volleyball , Kho-kho , athletics, chess, Carrom and be a part of one team game like cricket, basketball etc. The talent of each student is identified and given the opportunity to join and practice for the school sports team. Apart from the inter-house competitions, the students will be promoted to take part in state and national sports events.
Students from lower class onwards will be taken on regular educational trips, Picnics and outstation tours. The class teachers and other school staff will accompany the students on these tours. They will also be taken to various factories, institutions and cultural centers.
